Student Contests & Scholarships
Students in public, private, and home schools are invited to submit essays and video essays on a topic related to American History. Awards are granted at the chapter, state, and national levels. Chapter nomination is required – contact us for more information!
The Colorado Society and the National Society provide a variety of scholarships for students interested in pursuing a variety of fields of study. Some scholarships are designated by program, and some are designated by demographics. Chapter nomination is required for many, but not all, scholarship applications – contact us for more information!
Teacher Grants & Scholarships
TheĀ Junior Membership Classroom Grant Program provides funding to classroom teachers nationwide through grants of up to $500, ensuring that students receive the resources they need for a successful learning experience. The DAR American Revolution Legacy Grant is a one-time award of $5,000 offered to PreK-12 teachers and administrators to support educational initiatives or student programs (for young and old), enhance student academic performance, and reward creative approaches to support higher levels of student learning.
Scholarships and grants for elementary and secondary teachers are available through Colorado State Society and the National Society.
